Guild Wars 2: Path of Fire is the second expansion for the award-winning game, Guild Wars 2. As the balance of magic comes undone, lead your allies in the hunt for the rogue god Balthazar, whose scorched-earth campaign threatens the very existence of Tyria.
In addition to the new story line, ArenaNet announced several new features, such as Elite Specializations and Mounts. This marks the first time that mounts, typically commonplace in MMORPGs, make an appearance in Guild Wars. These Mounts will be more than just vehicles to provide faster transport between locations in the game. The live event showcased several of the new mounts and focused on their differing abilities, such as being able to blink forward by disappear, or leaping to great heights. This should open up new avenues of combat, as the player will utilize their Mount in different ways.
