After 8 years, Ys finally released a new installment for its Ys series. The story of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana will revolve around the main character named Adol who woke up in a shipwrecked boat and was stranded on a cursed island, wherein he and other shipwrecked passengers, which Adol rescued from a village, need to challenge fearsome beasts and mysterious ruins on the cursed island.
